My profile page is shifted really far to the right, or some other really odd thing is going on... what can I do?
if you don't see a big, bold announcement at the top of this page indicating that we're aware of a global issue (probably caused by a code refactoring on Facebook's end), then it's very likely that another extension you have installed (like an adblocker, etc) is conflicting with Boost and causing this.
To see if this is the case, temporarily disable all other Firefox Extensions (go to Tools->Add-ons in the Firefox menu, go to the Extensions tabs and click 'Disable' or 'Uninstall' next to the other extensions), restart Firefox and see if the problem goes away. You could also just create a new Firefox profile and add Boost to it, to see if it works.

Where is the toolbar?
Boost hasn't had the Facebook Toolbar integrated since July 08, but you can always download and install the Official Facebook Toolbar for Firefox, which works great with Boost. If you downloaded Boost from a third party site, remember that the best place to find recent updates on Boost and other extensions is is the Official Mozilla add-ons page.
⊕
How do I disable/enable certain features of Boost?

just click on the little Boost icon on the bottom right hand corner of your Firefox browser window to open the Boost settings window, where you can enable/disable whichever features you like
⊕
How do I update, uninstall or disable Boost?

Boost updates itself automatically every few days, if a more recent version is available. to manually adjust installation settings, go to Tools->Add-ons in the Firefox menu, go to the Extensions tabs and click either 'Find Updates', 'Disable' or 'Uninstall'. that's it!
⊕
Why is Boost making my Firefox slow/crash?
first, disable any feature marked 'beta' (like the Homepage Auto-Refresher) as they're not fully tested and might cause undesirable effects. next, be aware that some features (like Rollover All pics) cause page times to increase, especially on slow connections. Other features (like skinning, auto-login or most of the other features) don't affect load time at all. We've set the defaults to what will work best for most users, but if you feel like tinkering then just play around with each feature to see what your internet connection can handle
